US takes final steps to ban online gambling

Online gambling being pushed further and further out of sight from being legalised in the USA is not something we here at Jackpot Avenue like to see, but unfortunately this is becoming more and more the case.

The US treasury and federal reserve are taking further steps to make internet gambling a thing of the past over in the USA. UIGEA is becoming implemented by two agencies working in conjunction with the US department of justice.

Although online gambling was banned in the USA many banks and credit card companies still process payments for online gambling purposes and from today this will be further restricted. The new rules set down will make both casino operators banks, credit card companies and anyone involved in the online gambling sector aware of the US law on online gambling.
