Getminted.com banned in Germany

Getminted.com is the first casino to pull out of Germany due to the German online gambling ban. It has announced that it will exit the industry within the next month. Stuart Miller the casino manager for getminted.com commented that he instructed the casino to send email to all German players based in Germany warning them that their accounts will be stopped on the first of March. Their accounts have already been stopped but they can withdraw funds from their accounts up until the first of March. Germany decided to go the same way as the USA with UIGEA which like with the American's many of their players and citizens are protesting against. The ban has been criticised by the European commission who believe it to be going against the European Union's principles of free trade. Getminted.com confirmed they are going watch the current situation with Germany in hope that this will soon be overturned and they can enter Germany once again.
