Steve Wynn is building a 600 hotel room 205,000 square foot high roller casino in Macau designed to scoop up the Asian high rollers.  Despite the global recession which is causing havoc for other casino billionaires such as Sheldon Adelson who may loose the Las Vegas Sands, Wynn is standing strong and it would not be surprising if Wynn came out of this global recession far wealthier than everyone else in the casino industry.

Visa limits are being imposed by China on visitors to Macau.  Residents are now allowed one trip to Macau every three months as opposed to previously every two months.  This limiting has slowed down growth in Macau and has really negatively affected Macau’s gambling operators.  Even with this limit growth in the number of visitors is up around 20 percent each year so business is still booming long term.

Mr HO the Macau Billionaire is investing his money in his future idea of skiing in China.  He likens the future ski industry of China to that of the western world.  This business is a real gamble for Mr Ho as whether the Chinese middle classes are up for skiing is up to the future.  Mr Ho has some big ideas for the future of the Macau gaming industry with planes flying in and out of the country with casinos onboard this skiing idea is his next radical plan but could become immensely popular.
