Planet Hollywood casino nightclub lose liquor license

Prive nightclub in the Planet Hollywood casino, famous to Party Goers and a haunt of celebs when in Vegas is losing it’s liquor licence due to violations of the liquor licence.  Planet Hollywood casino is not the owner of the club, the Opium group is, yet the Planet Hollywood casino benefits from people attending this club and going on to gamble.  Apparently what was going on at the club breached licencing policies on various occasions involving nudity and obscene behavior.  

“The evidence of improper management oversight and disregard for the duties of the licensee is overwhelming and points to only one decision, denial of a liquor license,” commented an official from the business licensing department in Vegas.  They are appealing the licence problem as they certainly need to as this could easily quickly destroy business and cost both the Opium Group and the Planet Hollywood casino in Vegas allot of money.  Frank Schrek one of Planet Hollywoods attorneys commented about the resolution of this problem ”Prive has been cooperative enough with us in terms of rewriting and drafting the lease and code of conduct and operational code,” he said. “Hopefully that will resolve a lot of these issues. … It’s too early. The smoke hasn’t cleared, yet.”  Hopefully with their cooperation things should go back to the way they were but the nude table dancing that was said to have happened there and some of the other outrageous behaviors will have to not be seen there again, which some customers will certainly be upset to hear about, certainly the guys from that new “The Hangover” movie would be devastated, maybe it was these guys who got Prive in so much trouble in the first place.
