Casino strip in India to be built by Sheldon Adelson

Sheldon Adelson is thinking of building a casino strip in India, Las Vegas Sands would have to spend $12 billion to build it and would be a similar construction to whats been done with Macau.”We would be happy to spend $12 billion there” Adelson commented about the worlds second most populous nation with the first being China.

Adelson opened the first foreign owned casino in Macau in 2004 ending Ho’s monopoly over Macau.  Adelson believes the same can be done with India and has had talks with the Indian tourist minister and other officials who would be involved with the go ahead of such an operation to build a casino strip in India.

India would be a great place for a casino strip many individuals involved in the gaming market have commented due to the shift in income from the UK and USA to India with huge call centres and outsourcing projects being conducted in India, there is alot of money there at the moment.
