Two Australian online casinos Lasseters and Ausvegas have closed down

Lasseters one of the first online casinos based in Australia and Ausvegas its sister company closed down yesterday due to poor profits.  Yesterday was a sad day as we lossed one of the internets greatest online casinos.  When the USA put a stop to online gambling Lasseters lost a huge player base and have struggled ever since.  We are sad to lose them as we have been promoting them since we started and they have been great.  For all of you lovers of Australian online casinos we will put together some new Australian casinos later this week to help you get over the sadness when Lasseters closed down.

Australian casinos high roller busted on huge ecstasy charge

Rob Karam a huge Crown casino high roller has been busted for importing six tonnes of chemicals for producing speed and ice with a street value of $2 billion.  This is said to be the biggest ecstasy bust ever in Australia.  Before this arrest he was given a lifetime ban from australian casinos in OZ.  Maybe this didn’t stop him from gambling at australian online casinos.  High roller Rob Karam before his huge bust was taking this to court and challenging this as he didn’t understand why he had been banned from everywhere.

Gambling whales not in australian casinos but in Macau casinos

Australian casinos are suffering a loss of gambling whales aka high rollers.  Macau on the other hand has targeted them very well and they are flooding in in the masses.  High rollers keep casinos alive and make up a huge percentage of their overall profits.  Macau has brought in the gambling whales with great high free lines of credit.  Asian high rollers have been staying close to home and not visiting Australia to gamble.  Casino staff in Sydney commented that they were noticing a fall in profits just because of less than five asian baccarat players not turning up to gamble in australia.
