Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas set to open new tower

Despite Las Vegas being seriously affected by the recession and most casinos not being able to fill anywhere near all the rooms, the Hard Rock hotel is opening a new tower targeted towards casino players.  The new tower will be called the “Paradise tower” and will have 490 rooms inside it and is set for opening this weekend.  The new tower was urgently needed as the Hard Rock was at 95% of occupancy.  The Hotel wasn’t always so highly occupied but since development of a 60,000 square foot convention centre and meeting space next to the Hard Rock they have attracted allot more customers.  This is not the only tower the Hard Rock is set to open soon, they are planning on another tower called the “Harmon tower” which will have 375 rooms.
