Aussie high roller gambles $1.4b in the Crown Casino

An Aussie high roller gambled $1.4b in the Crown Casino and is now suing them for not preventing to stop him.  The chief executive of the Crown Casino Rowen Craigie was allegedly part of the plan to get this high roller to keep gambling extreme amounts of money.  The $1.4b was gambled over the short space of 14 months.

Chinese high roller loses $3 million in Crown Casino

A high roller Chinese businessman lost $3 million in an Australian Casino the Crown Casino.  He lost $300,000 in five minutes playing high roller baccarat.  Unlike many high rollers this particular man was gambling $100,000 a hand in front of many people in the VIP room of the casino, most high rollers would ask to have a separate table set up in a private part of the casino this was not the case for him.  He played high roller card games such as baccarat the favorite style of many chinese high rollers.

Arab high rollers come to Britain for high roller gambling

Fat man loses £23 million at London high roller casino

High roller casino Aspinalls, has been in court with a gambler known as the fat man over a £2 million debt.  The Fat man aka Fouad Al Zayat is a Syrian businessman in the aviation business.  Fouad is said to have gambled around £90 million at Apsinalls over the last few years and has lost £23 million.  The current £2 million debt court case is due to him being given credit when down in a situation to recoup his losses something reputable casinos should not do by law as it is promoting problem gambling.  Fouad won his case to pay his debt over the course of a year to the high roller casino.  Mr Fouad admits he has a problem and says that he has one sin and that is it and has lost alot of money because of it.

Famous High Rollers

There are many high rollers in the world today and there have been many high rollers in the past but few as memorable as the names below.  Starting with probably the biggest high roller of all time Kerry Packer who you may have thought would have died with huge casino debts but quite the opposite leaving a fortune of several billions for his son to inherit and take over the family business.  We will be covering three famous high rollers each week but none will beat Packer.

Kerry Packer

Kerry Packer famous for going on a high roller losing streak in London losing $28 million in a few weeks in London’s high roller casinos.  He won $33 million australian another time when in the MGM grand in Vegas a huge win!  Sure that made up for the loss in London.  There are many comical high roller related stories involving Kerry Packer and casino tables one which I always remember is when in casino an oil tycoon bragged of his wealth being $60 million Kerry Packer took out a coin and said to him toss you for it!

He is a professional blackjack player who has written many subjects on blackjack card counting and beyond.  he had long running legal battles with Las vegas casinos and won one in 2005 with a payout of $600,000.  He was a mathematics whizz and because of this used his talent to become an incredible blackjack player and is currently the youngest member of the professional blackjack hall of fame and highly regarded by Blackjack players world wide.

Greektown land casino in Detroit has high roller slots introduced

Greektown casino in Detroit has been falling behind most other land casinos in the area in terms of revenue and growth, though a new refurbishment recently undergone there will hopefully pull it back on the road to being a big contender to the competition.

The refurbishment undergone there is external to with roads created to make easier access to the casino and for the last year or so has left the roads blocked reducing access to the casino but suddenly all will be revealed in the near future.  The gaming floor in the land casino has been extended by 33% and huge number of new slot machines introduced as well as high roller slots.  This year the casino is expected to lose $15 million as a result of the cost of refurbishment and limited access to the casino but should make this back very soon.

Australian casinos high roller busted on huge ecstasy charge

Rob Karam a huge Crown casino high roller has been busted for importing six tonnes of chemicals for producing speed and ice with a street value of $2 billion.  This is said to be the biggest ecstasy bust ever in Australia.  Before this arrest he was given a lifetime ban from australian casinos in OZ.  Maybe this didn’t stop him from gambling at australian online casinos.  High roller Rob Karam before his huge bust was taking this to court and challenging this as he didn’t understand why he had been banned from everywhere.
